Steve Krenz is the man behind Learn and Master Guitar. He created this product specifically for people who want to study at home and learn to play guitar fast.

Steve is a professional guitar player who has with performers including Donna Summers and the Fifth Dimension. That alone tells me that he knows a thing or two about how to play guitar.

But the real question is…Does Learn and Master Guitar work?

I have personally reviewed each component of Learn and Master Guitar and I can confidently tell you that this is a solid product.

Even complete beginners can learn guitar fast using these lessons. In our evaluation of the product we asked two “newbies" (total beginners without any experience playing the guitar) to use Learn and Master Guitar and see how long it would take them to learn to play Tequila Sunrise by the Eagles. One student accomplished this in only two days and the other in one week.

When you open the Learn and Master kit, here is what you will find:

20 award-winning DVDs. Each DVD contains lessons that form the foundation of the guitar learning system. Each lesson is explained and demonstrated with graphics below the image showing you the strings of the guitar, the notes played and the correct finger placement. 

A printed workbook showing all the songs and exercises from the video lessons. The workbook doesn't just explain the lessons. It also makes nice use of graphics to show you how to perform each exercise correctly.  

5 jam-along CDs. The CDs have a band playing the same songs taught in the lessons. This gives you an opportunity to play along with a professional band as you learn each new song.

You also have access to an online forum where you can interact with other musicians, ask questions and gain additional guidance and support along the way.

But our favorite part of Learn and Master Guitar is the quality. The lesson videos are professionally shot from multiple camera angles so you can SEE the correct finger placement and strumming patterns as well as hearing the correct sound all while having a diagram to look at. Our reviewers love being able to pause and replay the videos. This lets you keep practicing until you get it right. There is no way you can “rewind” a live instructor and watch them over and over.
